KPU-Tel Edge Router Refresh RFP

The City of Ketchikan’s Public Utilities department is seeking proposals to replace its existing edge routers that support the municipal telephone network. This procurement will cover the provision, installation, configuration, testing, and integration of new routing hardware to improve reliability and capacity for voice services. All detailed specifications, requirements, and contract terms are available only to registered vendors via the city’s procurement portal. • Supply new edge routers meeting the city’s technical specifications • Perform removal of legacy equipment and install the new hardware • Configure, test, and integrate routers into the existing KPU‑Telephone infrastructure • Provide training and documentation for city staff on operation and maintenance
