6515--Brand-Name or Equal Amsco Steam Sterilizer RFI With Deinstallation & Installation

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, is seeking sources that can provide Brand Name or Equal Amsco Steam Sterilizer equipment that meets specific technical specifications. The equipment must be able to be operated and maintained within VHA Directive 1116(2), sterilize reusable medical devices, and fit within current space requirements and utilize current facility utilities. Vendors must visit the site to verify this. The equipment must also include steam condensate samples, steam filters, and a user manual. The vendor must provide turnkey services, including delivery, installation, configuration, validation, and training. • The equipment must be pre-vacuum and able to process trays 7.5” tall. • The 2 larger sterilizers must be able to hold a minimum of 15 trays and a minimum of 375 pounds. • The 1 smaller sterilizer must be able to hold a minimum of 2 trays and a minimum of 75 pounds. • The vendor must provide any stainless-steel paneling needed to ensure finished space is in compliance with VHA Directive 1116(2). • The vendor must have an education specialist on-site on the day of installation for any questions on the function, use, and maintenance of the equipment.
