The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Materials & Tests Unit is seeking a vendor to supply 85 portable moisture‑density gauges (or equivalent) for field measurement of asphalt, soil, and base materials, replace existing nuclear gauges, dispose of 146 legacy nuclear density gauges, and provide on‑site training and a maintenance option. The contract is a one‑time purchase; delivery is FOB destination to Raleigh, NC, with all shipping and handling included. Vendors must be registered in North Carolina’s eVP system, certify financial stability, and comply with state procurement rules, including E‑Verify and disposal regulations under NRC guidelines.
