The City of Boise is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services for the design of a vortex‑type liquid‑stream grit removal system at the West Boise Water Renewal Facility (WBWRF). The work includes reviewing the existing preliminary design, investigating permitting requirements, and preparing final design documents and construction‑drawings for a capital‑improvement project that must be executed while the plant remains in operation. Proposals must be submitted electronically via JAGGAER and include an Idaho‑licensed architect, acknowledgment of public‑agency clause, and evidence of local (Idaho) presence. • Review and update the 2025 Preliminary Engineering Report and 30 % design drawings for the WBWRF grit‑removal upgrade. • Perform permitting analysis and prepare all necessary permit applications and supporting documentation. • Deliver final design, construction‑document sets, and technical specifications for two additional vortex grit‑removal units, ensuring phased construction and continuous plant operation. • Provide on‑site coordination, sub‑consultant management, and support during construction, adhering to City of Boise’s QA/QC and safety standards.
