The City of Sulphur is soliciting bids for the purchase of 90,000 lb of 50 % sodium hydroxide (caustic) to be supplied and delivered within the calendar year 2026. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who provides a bid bond and meets all statutory requirements. The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope by the deadline, and all bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or a bid bond equal to 5 % of the total bid (minimum $2,000).
