Description
The University of Central Florida is seeking a supplier to provide material purchasing, inventory management, and logistics services for its on-site centralized facilities management maintenance repair operations stock room. The successful respondent will be responsible for sourcing materials based on best value, availability, quality, service, and operational requirements. The contract will include provisions for pricing, payment terms, and performance standards. The university reserves the right to conduct negotiations with the proposer(s) whose offer(s) may represent the best interest of the university.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Providing material purchasing, inventory management, and logistics services
* Sourcing materials based on best value, availability, quality, service, and operational requirements
* Maintaining stock levels of MRO supplies and materials
* Providing efficient and prompt customer response at all times
* Complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
* Providing certification and safety labels for products
* Managing all manufacturers' warranties
