Description
The County is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive electronic waste (e‑waste) recycling services. This includes the collection, transport, secure data destruction, and environmentally responsible processing of discarded electronic devices, with the goal of diverting usable components from landfills and complying with state and federal hazardous waste regulations.
• Collect and transport a wide range of electronic equipment (computers, monitors, printers, peripherals, etc.) from designated sites in Brown County.
• Perform data sanitization and secure destruction of storage media to protect sensitive information.
• Process e‑waste through certified recycling facilities to recover metal, plastic, and other materials for resale or proper disposal.
• Provide documentation of recycling outcomes, including certificates of destruction and material recovery reports.
• Ensure compliance with Wisconsin’s hazardous waste statutes and EPA regulations throughout the service lifecycle.
