OSP Construction Services

The Northern Wasco County People's Utility District is seeking a qualified contractor to provide OSP construction services, including construction line extensions, regular and routine maintenance, and emergency restoration services. The contractor will be responsible for installing conduit and cable, maintaining and deploying fiber optic utility infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations. The contract will require the contractor to provide labor, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to perform the services. The contractor will also be responsible for protecting all installed fiber infrastructure, including locates, until final acceptance by the District. • The contractor must have experience with aerial/underground mainline/middle mile/last mile fiber construction. • The contractor must be able to provide a dedicated project manager with excellent written and oral communication skills. • The contractor must be able to respond to all District requests and assist in resolving all construction-related issues. • The contractor must be able to provide all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals. • The contractor must be able to comply with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
