Architectural and Engineering Design Services - Cartersville Sports Complex / Hicks Park

The City of Cartersville is seeking a qualified architectural and engineering firm to design a comprehensive redevelopment of the Cartersville Sports Complex and Hicks Park. The scope includes planning, programming, conceptual through construction‑document design for multiple baseball/softball fields, a new concession stand, a press box, locker rooms, a retaining wall, and associated site improvements. The project will be delivered under a Construction Manager‑at‑Risk (CMAR) method with an anticipated construction budget of $4‑6 million. Design services are expected to start Fall 2026, with construction documents completed by April 2027 and the first field ready by February 2028. • Provide full architectural, civil, structural, MEP, landscape, and interior design services. • Deliver programming, schematic, design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration. • Coordinate with a separately hired Construction Manager‑at‑Risk. • Meet Georgia insurance requirements (A‑rated carrier). • Submit sealed technical proposal (unbound original + 5 bound copies) and a separate sealed fee proposal by 3 PM Oct 23 2026. • Questions due by 5 PM Oct 6 2026.
