Description
The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, is seeking information for market research purposes only for the VMware Cloud Foundations. The government intends to award a contract to Carahsoft Technology Corporation, but alternative sources that can meet the same capabilities as VMWare Cloud Foundation are being considered. The requirement includes software licenses and 24/7 telephone support of virtual datacenter infrastructure, as well as ongoing support and escalation procedures.
• The software licenses and support services are for the sustainment of the current software provided by Broadcom (VMWare Cloud Foundation) for Network Virtual Environment for 702 Core License for Virtual Data Center services supporting the 55th Wing.
• The software manufacturer shall provide ongoing support and escalation procedures.
• The software manufacturer shall provide proactive maintenance, security updates, and patches at no additional cost to the government.
