METRO RTA Trash and Recycle Services

The METRO Regional Transit Authority (METRO RTA) is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive trash collection, recycling, hauling, transportation, and disposal services for all METRO RTA-owned and operated facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, containers, vehicles, transportation, disposal fees, and related services necessary to ensure the efficient and environmentally responsible management of waste and recyclable materials generated at METRO RTA locations. The contract term is expected to be 3 years with 2 option years. Some of the key services include: • Trash collection and disposal • Recycling collection and processing • Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations • Maintenance of collection areas in clean and orderly condition • Emergency service when requested The contractor must have at least 3 years of experience providing similar services, possess all required licenses and permits, and demonstrate the ability to provide adequate staffing and equipment.
