Family Caregiver Counseling Services

The Hawaii County Office of Aging (HCOA) is seeking community input for the development of Requests for Proposals (RFP) for family caregiver counseling services. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather feedback and comments regarding the coordination and delivery of family caregiver counseling services, particularly for individuals in rural areas or with limited availability. The services include access, counseling, and caregiver training. • The HCOA is interested in feedback on how to improve coordination and delivery of family caregiver counseling services. • The HCOA is also seeking information on the respondent's workforce capacity to provide consistent, reliable services island-wide. • The HCOA welcomes additional comments and suggestions on other services and programs for older individuals or family caregivers that may be provided in the future.
