2024 Risk Manager RFP

The Borough of Atlantic Highlands seeks a qualified New Jersey‑licensed property‑casualty insurance producer (agent or broker) to serve as its Risk Manager for calendar year 2024. The consultant will identify municipal exposures, advise on coverage options through the Monmouth County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (JIF), prepare required documentation, review assessments and loss reports, assist with claim settlements, attend JIF meetings, provide ongoing reporting, and perform any additional services required by the Fund’s bylaws. • Must be pre‑qualified/approved by the Monmouth County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund and hold a NJ property‑casualty license. • Primary duties include exposure identification, coverage recommendation, preparation of applications and statements of value, budget assistance, loss‑run reporting, quarterly claims‑review meetings, and ongoing advisory support. • Compensation is a fee of 6 % of the JIF assessment (premium) issued for 2024; invoices are paid within 60 days of receipt of a signed purchase order. • Contract runs from January 1 2024 to December 31 2024 (one‑year term) with a 60‑day proposal validity period and a 30‑day termination notice provision. • Vendor must provide extensive certifications, insurance coverages, non‑collusion affidavit, affirmative‑action documentation, and other compliance paperwork with the sealed bid submission.
