Description
This solicitation seeks a single contractor to provide a firm‑fixed‑price job order for three related repair actions on the USS RUSHMORE (LSD‑47) stationed in Sasebo, Japan. The work includes (1) replacing the nonskid deck covering on the forward 04‑Level weather deck, (2) repairing hull structure damage on the same deck, and (3) inserting/repairing a stiffener at location 04‑19‑0‑Q. All three tasks must be quoted together; the award will be based on the lowest total price. The contract will be performed under an active NAVSUP Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) and will run from late January through July 2027.
• Replace approximately 930 sf of nonskid deck covering and related scuttle panels on the forward 04‑Level deck.
• Perform structural repairs to hull sections on the same deck, including bulkhead and stiffener work, per Navy technical specifications.
• Insert a new vertical stiffener (web plate) in RAM Equipment Room 04‑19‑0‑Q, fabricating and welding to ABS Grade A steel.
Key requirements: active MSRA/ABR in the Japan region, Japanese‑based operations, compliance with numerous FAR/DFARS clauses, security clearances (CAC), and Japanese consumption‑tax exemption.
