PUBLIC NOTICE - RENEWABLE ENERGY CREDITS (RECs) SALE

The Joint Meeting of Essex and Union Counties (JMEUC) is selling 13,000 NJ Class 1 Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) through an online auction. The auction will be conducted by Taurus Advisory Group LLC on July 28, 2026. Buyers can bid on 6,500 Vintage 2027 RECs and 6,500 Vintage 2028 RECs. The winning bidder will be responsible for paying a fee equivalent to 0.5% of the total purchase price to the auction provider.
