Description

The County of Sedgwick and the City of Wichita are seeking qualified organizations to design and deliver stigma‑reduction, community‑outreach, and education programs addressing opioid use disorder. Up to five separate contracts, each up to $50,000 for a two‑year period, will be awarded to implement evidence‑based activities such as public‑awareness campaigns, professional training for key influencers, and resource‑navigation outreach. Applicants must submit a completed response form, budget workbook, and required attachments by the September 15 deadline, and may attend an optional pre‑bid webinar on August 3. The contract runs through December 31 2027 with a possible no‑cost one‑year renewal.

Budget estimate

$30,000 – $50,000

The solicitation caps each award at $50,000 for a two‑year project, with a total pool of $250,000 across five awards. Realistic award amounts are likely to fall between $30,000 (smaller scoped programs) and the maximum $50,000 for comprehensive, evidence‑based initiatives. The estimate considers the limited budget, the two‑year contract term, and the expectation that all costs (personnel, fringe, contracted services, supplies, travel, data/evaluation, and allowable indirect costs) be covered within the award ceiling.
