DPW Request For Qualifications For Inspection And Evaluation Of City-Owned Brid

The City of Norwalk’s Department of Public Works is seeking qualified engineering firms to perform inspection and evaluation services for all city‑owned bridges that are 20 feet or less in length. The scope includes visual inspections, structural assessments, load rating calculations, and delivery of detailed reports complying with state bridge inspection standards. Firms must demonstrate relevant experience in bridge engineering, have qualified professional engineers on staff, and be capable of completing the work within the project schedule. • Perform on‑site visual inspections of short‑span bridges. • Conduct structural analysis and develop load rating reports. • Provide recommendations for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement. • Deliver final documentation in accordance with Section 2 of the solicitation. • Must meet all qualification criteria outlined in the RFQ.
