Vehicle Towing, Storage, Salvage and Related Services

The City of Tucson is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide vehicle towing, storage, auction, extrication, stabilization, and salvage services for various City departments. The contractor will be responsible for providing these services, including responding to requests for service, towing and storing vehicles, and releasing vehicles to their owners. The contractor will also be required to maintain accurate records and submit reports to the City. The contract will be for a period of time to be determined, and the City may terminate the contract at any time with 30 days' advance written notice. • The contractor must have the necessary personnel and equipment to respond to requests for service within 15 minutes. • The contractor must maintain secure storage facilities for vehicles. • The contractor must provide information to vehicle owners regarding towing and storage charges, release procedures, and other relevant information. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to vehicle towing and storage. • The contractor must provide a revenue sharing plan to the City, which may include referral fees, auction/salvage proceed sharing, and other revenue sharing arrangements.
