Recycling Services - Lamps 10/01/2026 - 9/30/2027

Alachua County is requesting pricing for recycling services for lamps on an as-needed basis. The services include pickup of fluorescent lamps from the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center. The contractor shall be responsible for the pickup of fluorescent lamps and shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment in accordance with the specifications. The county reserves the right to reject any quote that may be considered irregular or incomplete. • The contractor shall provide recycling services for various types of lamps, including fluorescent, circular/U-bend, compact fluorescent, LED, halogen, and HID lamps. • The contractor shall provide a unit cost for each type of lamp and shall include all labor, materials, supplies, and equipment in the quote. • The county requires the contractor to have certain insurance coverages, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and pollution liability. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
