OPW 54998: Generator Upgrades - Multiple Facilities

The City of Omaha is seeking bids for the replacement of generators across multiple facilities, a new installation at a single site, and modifications to an existing unit at another. The scope of work includes all necessary actions to deliver fully functional, automated backup power systems, including procurement of generators and automatic transfer switches, concrete construction, natural gas piping and boring, and electrical integration. Bidders must submit their bids online through the Douglas County Purchasing website. A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM, starting at 8750 Vernon Avenue. • The project requires the submission of an Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP) and qualifies for Apprentice utilization. • The bid bond amount is 5% of the Bidder's maximum bid price. • The City of Omaha reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities, minor defects, or technical errors as may be deemed best for the interests of the City.
