On Call Civil Construction Services

The Rhode Island Turnpike & Bridge Authority (RITBA) is seeking firms to provide on‑call civil construction services on a five‑year, time‑and‑material basis for its bridge, toll‑gantry, and related facilities throughout Rhode Island. Contractors must be able to respond 2 hours for emergencies and 4‑48 hours for non‑emergencies, supplying labor, equipment, and expertise for tasks such as asphalt paving, concrete repair, utility work, right‑of‑way restoration, and steel repairs. The contract may be awarded to multiple firms, with work issued via separate task orders; firms must comply with prevailing‑wage requirements, maintain extensive insurance, and adhere to safety and reporting standards. • Provide 24/7/365 civil construction response for RITBA‑owned assets (bridges, toll facilities, pump stations, etc.). • Perform a wide range of civil works: grading, paving, concrete/steel repair, utility restoration, ROW rehabilitation, and emergency mobilization. • Operate under a T&M contract for up to five years, with equipment rates based on the EquipmentWatch Rental Rate Blue Book and labor at RI prevailing wages.
