Description
The City of Asheville is seeking a consultant to design and implement a participatory research project focused on documenting resilience resources activated in Asheville in the wake of Tropical Storm Helene. The project aims to create a community-wide resilience hub asset map and analysis. The scope of work includes developing and implementing a strategy to craft key research questions and an equitable engagement plan, documenting community inventory of resilience hub locations and services, utilizing participatory research results to create a geolocated visual map and key asset display, and completing project analysis and final report to guide future city and community investment in resilience hubs.
Some key tasks and deliverables include:
• Developing and implementing a strategy to craft key research questions and an equitable engagement plan

The City is looking for a consultant with at least 3 years of experience in community engagement, participatory research, and/or community-engaged asset mapping.
