The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) is conducting market research to identify sources capable of delivering a lightweight, ruggedized, modular body‑worn power, data, and edge‑compute system (NGOCS) that can replace aging architecture on tactical platforms. The effort seeks industry input on technical feasibility, manufacturing readiness, integration with existing tactical radios, power‑management, security, and compliance with MIL‑STD and IP standards. Respondents must provide detailed company data, certifications, cost estimates, and complete two attached questionnaires outlining manufacturing readiness, hardware/software specifications, and compliance.
• Develop a modular “OCS hub” that mounts to PALS/MOLLE gear, weighs ≤8 lb (objective ≤4 lb), and supports ≥4 peripheral connections plus power management.
• Provide open‑standard interfaces (USB‑C, NATO STANAGs), secure APIs, local compute capability, and full compliance with MIL‑STD‑810G/H, MIL‑STD‑461G, IP67/68, and DoDI 6055.11.
• Submit an RFI response by 12:00 PM ET on 22 Oct 2026, including company certifications (small business, HUBZone, etc.), rough order‑of‑magnitude cost, and completed Attachment 1 (questionnaire) and Attachment 2 (compliance matrix).
