The State of Hawaii Department of Health Clean Water Branch seeks a qualified laboratory to perform microbiological testing of beach water samples for Enterococci (IDEXX Enterolert) and Clostridium perfringens (membrane‑filter) on a per‑test reimbursement basis. The contractor must process 15‑20 samples weekly (up to 80 per month), deliver results within eight hours of collection, and notify the agency within two hours if Enterococci exceeds the beach action value. The work includes on‑demand testing after hours, annual participation in a third‑party proficiency‑testing program, and provision of a Quality Assurance Plan and SOPs.
