Armored Car Services

The City of Avondale is seeking a qualified vendor to provide armored car services, including secure cash pickup, transportation, and delivery services for designated city facilities. The contract will be for an initial term of one year, with the option to renew for up to four successive one-year terms. The vendor will be required to provide services four days a week, with pickup time windows coordinated with the city. The vendor must also maintain secure chain-of-custody procedures and provide written or electronic documentation of pickups and deliveries. • The vendor must have experience providing armored transport services in the State of Arizona. • The vendor must have the necessary licenses, certifications, and regulatory authorizations to provide armored transport and armed security services. • The vendor must have a system in place to record pickups and deliveries, including how chain-of-custody is documented. • The vendor must have a contingency plan in place for vehicle breakdowns or staffing shortages. • The vendor must be able to provide services to multiple financial institutions, including US Bank and Chase.
