Concessions in Parks RFP

The City of Edmonds Parks & Recreation Department is seeking proposals from concession contractors to provide food, beverage, and/or recreational user services at various parks in Edmonds. The proposal should include: 1. Business experience and qualifications 2. Description of the proposed concession, including menus, prices, and services 3. Food safety procedures and environmental sustainability efforts 4. Client and business references 5. Proposed fee schedule and revenue sharing agreement with the City (minimum 10% of gross revenue) The City is looking for contractors who can provide a healthy, innovative, and affordable menu, as well as reliable services to park patrons. The selected contractors will be expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, obtain necessary insurance, and pay a cleaning and damage deposit. The proposal should be submitted to the City of Edmonds Parks & Recreation Department, and will be evaluated based on the following criteria: 1. Days and hours of operation 2. Products and services offered 3. Concession experience and business references 4. Remuneration for the City (percentage of gross revenue) The City is seeking proposals for the following park locations: * Anway Park * Brackett's Landing North * Olympic Beach * Brackett's Landing South * Marina Beach/Off Leash Dog Park * Edmonds City Park * Yost Park * Pine Ridge Park * Civic Center Playfields * Special Events (movie nights, concerts, etc.) The selected contractors will be awarded a Concession Agreement, which will confer permission to occupy and use the premises for concession purposes. The agreement will be for a period of one year, and may be renewed at the City's discretion.
