Floodplain Notice – Burns, OR

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA, APHIS) is giving public notice of its intent to lease existing land in Burns, OR. The area is susceptible to flooding at or above the 100-year flood level, and the agency is required to review the project for possible alternative solutions. The land lease houses a USDA APHIS owned hangar, which is used as a base to conduct wildlife damage management activities throughout Southern Oregon.
