H999--Sources Sought - Alexandria VAMC-Water Tank Inspection

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors for water storage tank inspection and maintenance services at the Alexandria VA Health Care System. The contractor will be required to perform comprehensive inspections, testing, and maintenance of the water storage tank facility, including interior and exterior coatings, tank structure, and associated components. The contractor must comply with applicable federal, state, and VA regulations. The period of performance is five years, with inspections required every three years. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and expertise necessary to perform the work. Key aspects of the job include: • Inspection of tank interior and exterior coatings • Inspection of tank structure for corrosion, pitting, spalling, dents, or degradation • Underwater inspection using divers or ROV • Verification of proper operation of high/low sensors, monitoring systems, valves, heaters, gauges, and safety components • Compliance with VA water safety protocols and AWWA C652 (disinfection) • Submission of detailed reports within 15 calendar days
