Description
The Walled Lake Consolidated School District is seeking a firm prime contractor to perform comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, site work, and architectural trades for the remodeling of five elementary schools (Commerce, Dublin, Meadowbrook, Hickory Woods, and Pleasant Lake). Bids must be submitted in duplicate on architect‑provided forms, sealed, and delivered by 12:00 pm EST on November 17, 2026 (or electronically via PreconSuite). A pre‑bid meeting is scheduled for October 30, 2026 at Meadowbrook Elementary. Successful bidders with proposals ≥ $50,000 must provide a performance and payment bond equal to 100 % of the bid. Additional mandatory affidavits include Iran Economic Sanctions compliance, criminal background checks, and prevailing‑wage registration. The district reserves the right to award to any bidder, not necessarily the lowest.
