RFP 2026-0500-0284 Statewide Career Guide and Regional CTE Coordination

The Alaska Department of Education and Early Development is seeking a contractor to coordinate and strengthen the implementation of the Alaska Career Guide Project, supporting collaboration among school districts, workforce partners, and postsecondary institutions. The contractor will provide direct support to career guides and participating districts through ongoing professional development, mentoring for new career guides, and active monitoring of key performance indicators. The project aims to prioritize fidelity to the existing Career Guide model while supporting thoughtful and sustainable expansion of career pathway and CTE opportunities aligned with Alaska's regional workforce needs. Key responsibilities include designing and delivering professional development plans, implementing a mentoring structure, and facilitating collaboration among districts to strengthen and expand CTE opportunities. • The contractor will work with school districts, career guides, and workforce partners to support implementation of the Alaska Career Guide Project. • The contractor will design and deliver structured professional development plans for career guides. • The contractor will facilitate collaboration among districts to strengthen and expand CTE opportunities. • The contractor will maintain regular engagement with career guides and district partners through scheduled check-ins, coaching, and technical assistance. • The contractor will utilize the existing KPI dashboard to actively monitor project implementation, participation, and student engagement.
