DNR - Eldon Hazlet Concession

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is seeking a vendor to run the concession at Eldon Hazlet State Park. The concession includes the operation of a camp store and other amenities. The vendor will be required to pay a percentage of gross receipts as a reserve account payment, with a minimum payment of 9% of gross receipts. The contract will be for an initial term of 5 years, with the option to renew for an additional 20 years. The vendor will be responsible for submitting pricing for each line item, as well as completing and submitting required documents, including a Vendor Disclosure or IPG Active Registered Vendor Disclosure and an Offer to the State of Illinois. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, taxes, and environmental protection. • The vendor must provide proof of financial resources sufficient to ensure performance of the contract. • The vendor must correct any deficiencies as a condition of further evaluation. • The State reserves the right to amend the solicitation, reject any or all bids, and waive minor defects.
