Temporary Professional Staff Services 2026

The State of South Dakota Department of Social Services is establishing a three‑year IDIQ “umbrella” contract to provide on‑demand temporary professional staff across a broad set of functional areas (e.g., information systems, data governance, project management, communications, administrative support). Vendors will submit hourly rates (or rate ranges) for each sub‑task they wish to offer; rates are fixed for the contract term and no minimum dollar commitment is guaranteed. Work orders will be issued as needs arise, with a 14‑business‑day response window, and contractors must comply with the BIT Information Technology Security Policy, undergo fingerprint‑based background checks, and maintain specified insurance coverages. The solicitation is open to all qualified firms; award will be based on technical competence, past performance, and price per work order.
