This Federal Lands Highway multiple‑award task‑order contract will rebuild a 0.7‑mile stretch of the Grand Loop Road between Norris and Golden Gate in Yellowstone National Park, including extensive earthwork, rock‑fall mitigation, drainage, retaining‑wall construction, utility relocation, parking‑lot reconstruction, and boardwalk installation. The work is a firm‑fixed‑price task order estimated at $45‑$55 million, with a tentative completion in fall 2028. • Roadway reconstruction (excavation, blasting, scaling, embankment, asphalt paving, concrete curb & gutter). • Rock‑fall protection (slope scaling, rock bolts, dowels, MSE walls). • Utility upgrades (waterline replacement, storm‑drain improvements) and parking‑lot/boardwalk improvements. • Ancillary civil works (drainage, retaining walls, stone masonry, landscaping, traffic control devices).
