Wide Area Network (WAN)

The Standish-Sterling Community Schools is seeking a Wide Area Network (WAN) solution to provide high-speed internet connectivity to two locations. The selected vendor/contractor will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining the WAN system, including providing all necessary equipment and labor. The project includes Self-Provisioned Fiber, Leased Lit Fiber, Leased Dark Fiber, and other third-party network solutions. The vendor/contractor must ensure that the WAN system meets the requirements of the E-Rate program and complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Some key features of the project include: • Providing a 12-strand high-speed WAN system • Connecting two locations: Standish-Sterling Central High School and Sunrise Community Resource Center • Ensuring compliance with E-Rate program requirements • Providing all necessary equipment and labor for installation and maintenance • Meeting the specified timeline requirements The project is expected to start on July 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2027. The selected vendor/contractor will be required to provide a detailed bill of materials, warranty documentation, and testing documentation.
