Mortuary Affairs BPA

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide mortuary services, including embalming, preparation, and transportation of remains. The contractor will be required to comply with DoD standards and regulations, as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws. The scope of work includes providing mortuary services for deceased military personnel and their families. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all services are performed in a dignified and respectful manner, and that the remains are handled and transported in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Some key aspects of the job include: * Embalming and preparation of remains * Transportation of remains * Compliance with DoD standards and regulations * Provision of mortuary services for deceased military personnel and their families * Handling and transportation of remains in accordance with applicable laws and regulations * Maintenance of a clean and orderly facility * Compliance with OSHA standards for viewing remains * Controlled access to the facility with appropriate signage * A Quality Control Plan and Quality Assurance Plan will be required from the contractor.
