Ivermectin Treated Molasses Tubs

The USDA APHIS intends to issue a sole source award to Positive Feed Ltd to purchase ivermectin treated molasses tubs for the prevention and eradication of Cattle Fever Ticks in South Texas. The tubs are also in the FDA approval process for the treatment of New World Screwworm. The contract will provide critical resources and expertise to maintain and enhance the mission of the Cattle Fever Tick Eradication Program. The key requirements of the contract include: • Delivery of 10 truckloads of ivermectin molasses tubs • Each 130-pound molasses tub shall contain 200mg of Ivermectin per pound • The tubs are for use only by the CFTEP under the authority of an Investigational New Animal Drug Permit issued to Positive Feeds by the FDA • Positive Feed Ltd is currently the only company holding an FDA permit to manufacture this product
