Description
The Town of Bourne is seeking a qualified contractor to design, fabricate, and install permanent cantilever shade structures, ADA‑accessible picnic tables, and benches at three municipal recreation sites. The work includes producing PE‑stamped structural calculations, obtaining all permits, complying with Massachusetts building, fire, and wind‑load codes, and providing warranties for all materials and workmanship. The contract also requires weekly certified‑payroll reporting, prevailing‑wage compliance, and substantial insurance and bonding.
• Design and install three custom shade canopies (approx. 32 × 15 ft, 12 ft high; 12 × 16 ft; two 15 × 15 ft units) with structural steel, fabric, anchoring, and concrete footings.
• Supply and install ADA‑accessible picnic tables and weather‑resistant benches at each site.
• Deliver complete project documentation: stamped drawings, product data sheets, warranties, and as‑built records, plus secure all necessary permits and inspections.
