Official City Organ and Newspaper Advertising

The City of Waco is seeking a bidder to provide official city organ and newspaper advertising services. The successful bidder will be responsible for publishing notices, ordinances, and other matters required by law in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Waco, Texas. The contract will commence on the first day of the month following the City Council award and will continue for a period of 12 months. The City reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive any defects, irregularities, or informality in any submittal or procedure. • The newspaper must have more than a minimal number of subscribers in the City of Waco. • The newspaper must devote not less than 25% of its total column lineage to items of general interest to citizens of the City of Waco. • The newspaper must be published at least once a week. • The bidder must guarantee that all typed print will be legible and properly formatted. • The bidder must agree to republish all incomplete or incorrect notices in their entirety at no charge to the City. • The bidder must be able to furnish within 24 hours of request an "Affidavit of Publication" certificate for each official notice that was published. • The bidder must be able to deliver one copy of each issue, at no additional charge, to the City Secretary's Office and the Purchasing Services office.
