Furnish and Delivery of One (1) 80,000 GVWR End Dump Trailer

The County of Maui is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of one (1) 80,000 GVWR end dump trailer for the Department of Public Works, Highways Division, Molokai District. The trailer must meet the minimum specifications outlined in the bid document, including a full frame steel construction, tandem axle suspension, and a 40-ton hoist system. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the trailer to the County of Maui Public Works - Molokai Baseyard. • The trailer must have a minimum capacity of 80,000 lbs GVWR and 24 cubic yards. • The trailer must have a full frame steel construction and a 16-inch x 31# beam frame. • The trailer must have a tandem axle suspension with 54-inch axle spacing and 50k single point trunnion mounted/hutch parabolic spring. • The trailer must have a 40-ton hoist system and a five-stage hoist cylinder. • The trailer must have a hydraulic system with a one-inch male Aeroquip or similar wing nut type quick coupler. • The trailer must have a 7-way female receptacle and a seal beam-truck-lite easy seal harness system. • The trailer must have a automatic Aero Force Front to Back Tarp System with heavy duty mesh fabric in black. The County of Maui reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any minor or inadvertent discrepancy in the bid documents.
