RFQ 2026-71-Search and Rescue (SAR) Command Post Trailer

The County is seeking a single vendor to provide a complete, turn‑key Search and Rescue (SAR) Command Post Trailer – a towable 28‑ft mobile command center – together with installation of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and interior‑fit‑out systems. The trailer must include a chassis, aluminum enclosure, power generation (50 kW generator with transfer switch), lighting, communications, restroom facilities, optional HVAC, and a suite of optional equipment such as awnings, TV, microwave, and tool storage. The supplier must deliver the fully assembled and operational trailer within six months of receipt of a purchase order, and must meet specified insurance and certification requirements. • Purchase and full installation of a 28‑ft towable command‑post trailer (chassis, interior, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and optional accessories). • Provide a 7‑k torsion‑axle chassis with electric brakes, 5000 lb jack, and 16‑in aluminum wheels; interior aluminum cabinets, LED lighting, and UPS‑ready power distribution. • Include a 7.0 kW diesel generator, 50 A service, optional solar panel, RV‑style toilet and sink, water tanks, HVAC package, and optional communications/AV equipment. • Deliver fully operational trailer within six months of order receipt; comply with $1 M professional liability, $1 M general liability, and $500 k automobile liability insurance.
