Dakota County is procuring comprehensive generator services for 15 county‑owned generators. Two separate RFQs cover (1) scheduled preventative maintenance—including oil changes, filter replacements, coolant system parts, load‑bank testing, battery replacement, after‑hours scheduling, and reporting—and (2) on‑call, as‑needed repair work at any county facility, including secured sites. Contractors must provide all labor, materials, and equipment, comply with strict insurance and background‑check requirements, and be capable of working evenings, weekends, or normal business hours depending on the site. • Perform full‑service preventive maintenance on 15 generators across multiple locations, following manufacturer‑specified procedures and after‑hours restrictions for certain sites. • Offer 24/7 on‑call repair services, submit hourly rates (regular, overtime, holiday), material mark‑ups, and trip charges, and obtain prior approval for any work requiring County consent. • Maintain Workers’ Compensation, Commercial General Liability (≥ $2 M), Professional Liability, Automobile Liability, and Network‑Security/Privacy Liability coverage; complete Minnesota BCA Vendor Screening for any work in CJI environments.
