The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Architect/Engineer (A/E) to provide a complete design for a remodel to Building 28 at the Boise VA Medical Center. The A/E will provide comprehensive professional services, including investigative services, planning consultations, architectural and engineering design work, and construction period services. The project will renovate approximately 7,000 square feet of the building's interior to accommodate Supply Service offices, the drug cache, the mailroom, and pharmacy support space. The A/E will work with the VA-designated Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to ensure contract compliance. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Key responsibilities of the A/E include: * Providing a complete design for the remodel * Conducting site visits to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications * Reviewing requests for information and providing technical question responses * Developing a submittal register and logging submittals during construction * Preparing an independent specification section "SR - SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS" * Integrating review comments from the Registered Fire Protection Engineer into contract documents
