RFP 25-41-213456 Passenger Car Wifi Installation

The Alaska Railroad Corporation is seeking a contractor to install Wi-Fi equipment on passenger cars. The contractor will be responsible for transporting materials to the job site, completing all associated work, and adhering to material and equipment specifications. The installation work will take place at the ARRC car shop and Anchorage rail yard, and the contractor must provide a project schedule two weeks prior to the start of work. The contractor must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations. • The contractor must have experience in telecommunication/networking equipment installations • The contractor must demonstrate knowledge of network infrastructure design, cable routing, and best practices for cable protection • The contractor must comply with all applicable safety regulations and demonstrate knowledge of rail industry standards • The contractor must provide a documented safety program and proof of OSHA 10/30 training for personnel performing on-site work • The contractor must identify a qualified project manager with at least 5 years of experience overseeing similar network equipment and cabling projects
