Bulk Liquified Petroleum Gas - Propane

The State of Delaware is seeking bids for the provision of bulk liquified petroleum gas (propane) to all state agencies, school districts, and other entities. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option for three one-year extensions. The successful bidder will be required to provide propane that meets all state and federal specifications and regulations, and to deliver the propane within a reasonable amount of time. The bidder will also be responsible for installing and maintaining propane tanks and related equipment at no cost to the agency. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. • The bidder must provide a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total value of the bid. • The bidder must furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract award. • The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. • The bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, environmental protection, and tax exemption. • The bidder must provide a single point of contact for agency support and assistance. • The bidder must submit a monthly usage report and a subcontracting quarterly report.
