Expression of Interest – MU26SMHVAC – Full Service Design and Engineering Services to Replace Chillers Located at Corbly Hall and Science Hall, and an HVAC Unit at Morrow Library

Marshall University is seeking a qualified firm to provide full‑service design and engineering for the replacement of two chillers in Corbly Hall and Science Hall, as well as an HVAC unit in Morrow Library. The scope includes detailed engineering design, equipment specification, permitting support, and coordination with construction teams to ensure seamless installation and commissioning of the new systems. This effort aims to modernize campus mechanical infrastructure, improve energy efficiency, and support the university’s sustainability goals. • Replace and redesign chillers at Corbly Hall and Science Hall (full mechanical design, load calculations, and equipment selection). • Design a new HVAC unit for Morrow Library, including ductwork, controls, and integration with existing building systems. • Provide all engineering drawings, specifications, and permitting documentation required for construction. • Coordinate with university facilities staff and external contractors throughout the design and construction phases. • Deliver final design packages ready for bid and construction execution.
