Description

The Bureau of Arms Control and Nonproliferation is seeking an implementer to enhance protective measures for the supply chain of critical minerals. The primary goal is to bolster export controls, customs screening, and investment screening across key critical mineral producers and transit states worldwide. This will help mitigate the acquisition of these minerals by U.S. adversaries and secure supply chains from predatory and illicit practices. The project aims to promote U.S. national and economic security. • The implementer will work to enhance export controls and customs screening in critical mineral-producing countries. • The project will also focus on investment screening to prevent illicit practices. • The implementer will be required to work with key stakeholders, including governments and private sector entities. • The project's outcome will contribute to the security and stability of the global critical minerals supply chain.
