Description
The Orange County Superintendent of Schools is seeking sealed bids for interior renovation of two campus buildings – Esplanade Building 4 and Kalmus Building A. The work encompasses demolition of existing finishes, installation of new non‑bearing partitions, ceiling systems, lighting, modest HVAC modifications, fire‑sprinkler upgrades, and finish work (painting, flooring, etc.). A mandatory job‑walk will be held on November 4, 2026; bids are due November 18, 2026. The contract includes a $150,000 cash allowance, requires a 10 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds, and a 5 % retention on progress payments.
