AGY25047SR : Third Party Administrator Services for Transit Liability Claims

The Maryland Transit Administration is seeking a Third Party Administrator to provide claims adjusting services for transit liability claims. The selected contractor will be responsible for investigating, documenting, and settling claims, as well as providing claims adjusting staff to work on-site at the MTA's Transit Claims Group. The contract will be for a five-year period, with no option periods. The MTA is encouraging minority business enterprises to respond to this solicitation. • The contractor will be required to provide experienced and professional claims adjusting staff to thoroughly investigate, document, and settle claims. • The contractor will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 150-175 individual claims files with multiple claimants arising out of MTA operations. • The contractor will be required to provide monthly reports and audits to the MTA. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all claims are handled in accordance with Maryland law and regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide training and support to MTA staff on claims handling and investigation procedures.
