RFQ 28-25 Airport Strategic Communications

The City of Palm Springs is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional strategic communications services to the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) on an on-call, as-needed basis. The selected firm will be responsible for developing comprehensive communication strategies, managing community outreach and engagement, providing counsel on government and media relations, and assisting with crisis and rapid-response communications. The scope of work includes major capital projects, community and stakeholder engagement, strategic counsel, and communications planning. The contract will be for an initial three-year term with two one-year optional renewal terms. • The firm must have at least seven years of experience in providing strategic communications support to a municipal, county, state, or federal body, and at least five years of experience in providing strategic communications to an airport. • The firm must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of governmental strategic communications, including experience on a minimum of two projects specific to airport clients. • The firm must be able to provide visual communications support, including presentations, exhibits, renderings, and infographics. • The firm must be able to design and facilitate engagement opportunities with neighborhoods, business leaders, airport tenants, and regional partners. • The firm must be able to maintain stakeholder databases and provide summaries of input to inform project decisions.
