Concession & Retail Program Management

This contract is for the management of the Chicago Park District's concession program, which includes the development, management, and operation of concession facilities. The vendor, Park Concession Management, LLC, will provide concession development services, marketing services, permitting services, design and construction services, and annual, quarterly, monthly, and daily management services. The contract has a term of 5 years, with the option for renewal. The vendor will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial and accounting books, records, and reports, and will be subject to audits by the Chicago Park District. • The contract includes provisions for the management of concession facilities, including the development of a database of concessionaires and the creation of a map directory of concession facilities. • The vendor will be responsible for conducting customer traffic surveys and quarterly compliance reviews of concessionaires. • The contract includes provisions for the payment of concession revenues, operating expenses, and capital improvements. • The vendor will be responsible for maintaining adequate staffing and complying with applicable laws and regulations. • The contract includes provisions for termination and default, including the failure of the vendor to perform or satisfy its monetary obligations.
